Seminar on Black Economic Empowerment in South Africa's Mining Industry
MineAfrica, in association with the Chamber, is organizing a detailed one day BEE seminar focussing on South Africas mining industry. Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) is the single most important suite of legislation affecting business today in South Africa - with increasing implications for other Southern African countries. As such BEE has a dramatic impact on foreign mining and related investors considering investing or operating in Africa. This comprehensive seminar in Toronto, Canada, held on Thursday March 8, 2007, the day after the end of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) show, will explain Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) in detail and its legal, financial and operating impact on foreign investors interested in investing (or currently operating) in South and Southern Africa. Please contact me at bruce@mineafrica.com for details or call me at 416-588-7749
